Meet Sharky
Hi, I'm Sharky!
A curious shark in a graduation cap and the official mascot of GENIUS schools. Nice to meet you! I have been swimming the oceans of the world for a long time, getting to know different cultures and languages. One day I landed in Prague and discovered a place where children love to explore and ask "why?" just like me - GENIUS schools. I liked it so much that I decided to stay and become part of this amazing GENIUS family.
Why a shark?
We have had a fish in our logo from the beginning, so an aquatic animal was a natural choice. And a shark? It has everything we want to convey to children. Sharks are among the smartest marine animals with excellent memories – just like our GENIUS MIND educational program. They can overcome any obstacles in the ocean, they are precise and purposeful – a perfect metaphor for our project-based learning and the mental resilience we develop in children. They swim the oceans all over the world, just as our students gain a global perspective in the Czech-English environment. And most importantly – every shark is different, and we value the uniqueness of each child.
What do I symbolize?
I am not just a cute picture. I am the bearer of values that are essential for GENIUS schools:
The joy of learning and discovering new things
The courage to try things, even when they are difficult
Perseverance in overcoming difficulties
Respect for the individuality of each child
Teamwork and mutual support
Openness to the world and new experiences
Sharky is exactly the right friend that the GENIUS family wanted.
